Lesson 8, Part 2: Library Digital Offerings – eAudiobook

Objective: Learn about eAudiobooks

An eAudiobook is an Audiobook digitally converted for use on a computer or mobile device.

SAPL’s eAudiobooks can be found on the following platforms:

Each of the platforms above have their own catalog and app that allow for searching and using that specific collection. These items are also found in the online catalog. It’s often a good idea to have the patron search for an eAudiobook in the platform they are using, as this allows the patron to find titles and downloadable help all in the same place.

OverDrive and OneClick require the eAudiobook to be downloaded.

  • Downloading the eAudiobook allows for use at anytime but can take some time to do.
  • Streaming an eAudiobook requires no download but needs an active Internet connection.
